Get ready for spectacular fireworks display on the St. Pete Pier.

The city of St. Pete announced the return of its annual Fourth of July celebration on the waterfront. The festivities will run from 4pm-10pm all along the waterfront, with the main events happening at the Pier (600 2nd Ave NE).

This annual festivity offers a blend of delectable food and beverages from local businesses, live musical performances, and a variety of family-friendly activities. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the holiday with the community.

The highlight of the evening will be the fireworks display. Depending on the weather, the fireworks will dazzle the sky anytime between 8:30pm and 10pm, visible from the entire downtown waterfront.

The best viewing spots include Bayshore Dr. and North Shore Dr. NE, with great vantage points at Albert Whitted Park, North Straub Park, South Straub Park, North Shore Park, Elva Rouse Park, Flora Wylie Park, Demens Landing, and Vinoy Park.

For those driving to the event, convenient parking options are available at downtown parking garages, City lots, and metered parking. For detailed parking information, visit the city’s website.

This Fourth of July celebration is free and open to the public.

Before the festivities begin, the community is invited to enjoy a special St. Pete Pier Run. This event includes a 5K fun run on July 4th with the first race at 6:30am, followed by a second race at 7:45am. The starting line is conveniently located near Spa Beach on the St. Pete Pier. Register for the run online.
