A quintessential part of any Gulf Beach visit includes selecting and taking back the souvenirs to share with those at home some part of our vacation experience. In this past this would often mean fruit, and for good reason. Florida oranges are a yummy staple that truly allows you to share the sunshine of your trip. These days, however, you can bring an even more interesting and fun sampling of your stay - at least to those that are over 21!
While Florida is not necessarily normally considered wine country, this could be changing. Delicious fruity wines are finding a place at many a table and with the heat of the summer, they are perfect accompaniment to an early dinner, supper or sunset. Florida Orange Groves Winery offers luscious libations with many different flavors to suit each palate (my favorite is a Tropical fruit wine, Mango Mamma!).
Stop by for a visit and sample the delightful flavors of their wines, or peruse the gift shop for those perfect and unique gifts. The winery is open for tours Mon-Sat 10am to 4pm and Sun 12-4pm, and the tasting room is open M-Sat 9am - 5:30pm and Sun 12-5pm. The winery is closed on all major holidays.
