November Events


Nov 1: Sunset Yoga at St. Pete Pier. Join The Body Electric Yoga Company every first Wednesday evening for a yoga class at St. Pete Pier. Class will be grounding but fun, with lots of modifications offered to accommodate everybody. We'll catch some bay breezes as the sun sets over the big, grassy Family Park. Stick around afterwards to explore our city's exciting new digs. Register to enjoy 10% off your bill at the Driftwood Cafe at St. Pete Pier! Nov 1 - 30: Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey.  Come see the Tampa Bay Lightning as they march through hockey season in pursuit of the Stanley Cup. Amalie Arena hosts the team and offers great food and drink in an electric atmosphere watching the LIghtning.  Come be the thunder!  Visit the website for schedule and tickets. 

Nov 4 - 5: Savor St. Pete Festival. SAVOR ST. PETE is back on the St. Pete bayfront. As this popular foodie event celebrates 11 years, it's expanding and moving into Vinoy Waterfront Park. In the Grand Tasting Village, enjoy bites from leading Bay-area restaurants and a vast array of craft beers and wines. New activations include the ultra-chic Mixology Experience Lounge. Or take it up a notch with the VIP Spirits Lounge, flowing with top-shelf cocktails. Meet with top chefs, brew masters and wine specialists. Tickets are on sale now. General admission is $105 each day, or purchase a VIP pass for $135.

Nov 4: Historic Kenwood BungalowFest - 25th Annual Home Tour. Come out and enjoy Southwest Florida’s premier architectural home tour, returning for its 25th season! This year’s exciting experience explores architectural diversity and showcases 10 homes spotlighting our urban rebirth and the phenomenon of living large in small spaces. The 25th Annual BungalowFest will feature Craftsman Bungalows, Ranch, Mid-Century, and Modern homes with a special look inside a former grocery store converted into a 4-unit complex. BungalowFest will also offer guided tours of Historic St. Petersburg High School's renovations, giving an exclusive look into the history of the nation's first million-dollar high school. Kenwood is known for being the neighborhood of the Arts in St. Petersburg, and highlighted along the tour will be numerous Public Art Installations throughout Historic Kenwood. Nov 9 -11: 30th Annual Fall King of the Beach Festival and Tournament. Participate in the largest Kingfish Tournament and festival with over 600 teams competing for the title of KING. This is a 3 day festival featuring over 80 marine related vendors, a mini boatshow, a kids zone, local food and drinks and a concert Friday night. Come see the fish weighed in on Saturday. The event is FREE to attend we also offer a free shuttle service from our parking lots. Visit their website for all the details. 

Nov 10-12: St. Pete Run Fest. This three-day festival is full of flat and scenic running events, a Rollin' Oats Wellness Market and Cafe, local food, live music and local craft beer. Register for the 5K, 10K or half marathon, or get the kids in on the action with a kids' race. Each route highlights St. Pete's beautiful waterfront, historic neighborhoods and colorful murals. Nov 10: Chris Young at The Sound. Multi-platinum country music star Chris Young makes his debut at The Sound along with Special Guests Nate Smith and Breland! Chris has accumulated an impressive list of accomplishments, including membership in the iconic Grand Ole Opry, over 5 Billion on-demand streams, 13 career No. 1 singles, and numerous ACM, AMA, CMA and GRAMMY® nominations. These accomplishments and more landed the RCA Records Nashville artist among Billboard's top country artists of the decade. He is known for hits such as Famous Friends, I’m Coming Over, Raised On Country and At The End Of A Bar. Nov 10 -11: Coastal Comedy Night with Giulio Gallarotti. Giulio Gallarotti is a New York City-based stand-up comedian, actor, host, and podcaster. With his wit, charm, and unique perspective on life, Giulio has captivated audiences across the country. This will be his third time returning to the Coastal Creative stage, and we couldn't be more excited to have him back!  Tickets are available now, so secure your spot for an evening filled with laughter, entertainment, and unforgettable moments. 2201 1st Ave S in St. Petersburg.

Nov 11: Veteran's Day Parade. The Tampa Veterans’ Day Parade, one of the largest parades honoring veterans in Florida, will be Saturday, November 11, 2023, starting at 10 a.m. Tampa Veterans Day Parade details are available on the website

Nov 11: Encanto - The Sing Along Film Concert. Experience the film Encanto while singing along with its chart-topping hits at Ruth Eckerd Hall! Disney Concerts presents Encanto: The Sing-Along Film Concert, a 45-city tour where Encanto lovers of all ages have the opportunity to sing along with their favorite GRAMMY®-Award winning songs performed by a live band while watching the full film. Encanto: The Sing-Along Film Concert will include all the music of the Academy Award®-winning film, including iconic hits like We Don’t Talk About Bruno and Surface Pressure performed live. Fans are encouraged to dress up as Mirabel, Luisa, Isabela, or any of their favorite characters from the film and to use their voices to transform each venue into one big celebration of the Madrigal family. Nov 11: Art Glass Night Blow. Take the enchantment of glass blowing and then amp it up to level 11… glass blowing after dark is a whole new take on the already actioned-pack art process, and it is not one to miss. Back-lit by nothing more than a fiery hot kiln and our performers’ molten glass creations, Night Blow creates a spotlight on the heartbeat of glass-blowing, backed with synchronized music choreographed by the evening’s DJ. Nov 16 - 26: Annual Sandling Ovations Master's Cup. Come see Treasure Island’s beach come to life at the 2023 Sanding Ovations event scheduled November 16-19th. See what happens when master sculptors use their imaginations and turn piles of sand and buckets of water into “outSANDing” works of art. Best of all, this year’s event will extend into a second weekend, Nov. 25 & 26, 2023. This year’s “Once Upon a Time” wonderland will be created through the imaginations of master sculptors Sue McGrew, Deborah Barrett-Cutulle, Melineige Beauregard,  Benoit Dutherage, Fergus Mulvany, Damon Meri, Abe Waterman and Bruce Phillips. Live music, food, a craft market and a children's area featuring sand-sculpting lessons will be available. Nov 16-19: St. Pete BikeFest. Presented by Bert’s Barracuda and Bert’s Black Widow Harley-Davidson®, this four-day event is one of the best BikeFest rallies in the state! Find it at the home of Orange County Choppers - OCC Road House & Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. In the heart of the Tampa Bay area, near the award-winning sand of St. Pete Beach, attendees will have endless opportunities for things to do. Hosted by Orange County Choppers Road House & Museum with incredible packages available at RumFish Beach Resort by TradeWinds, the official hotel of St. Pete BikeFest. Nov 17-18: Coastal Comedy Night with Sam Miller. Sam Miller is a rising star in the comedy world, known for his witty observations about being a sober parent and his hilarious tales about life in Yakima. He has headlined at top comedy clubs around the country and recently signed a three-album deal with Grammy-winning producer Dan Schlissel's indie label, Stand Up! Records. Don't miss your chance to see Sam Miller live at Coastal Creative, where he'll be performing his latest material and cracking up the audience with his unique brand of comedy. Nov 18: St. Pete Beach Jamboree. Join us on Saturday, November 18th for the inaugural St. Pete Beach Jamboree! Featuring craft beer, food, music and an art festival in benefit of The Kind Mouse. The Kind Mouse Productions Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in St. Petersburg, Florida that assists families and children in Pinellas County with food insecurities and chronic hunger. Nov 17 - Dec 17: American Stage Presents Acts of Faith. From the African Copperbelt to the backwoods of Canada, Acts of Faith follows a young woman named Faith who gets mistaken for a prophet. When a revered religious leader attempts to take advantage of her plight, she begins using her ‘gift’ to right wrongs and punish the wicked. Nov 24 - Dec 31: Enchant. St. Pete is once again welcoming back Enchant Presented by Hallmark Channel to Tropicana Field from Friday, November 24, to Sunday, December 31, 2023. This world’s largest holiday-themed light event delivers premiere entertainment and fun for all. Enjoy an immersive walk-through light maze created with more than 4 million sparkling lights, an impressive 100-foot-tall holiday tree, a unique ice-skating trail, live entertainment, Santa visits and a holiday shopping marketplace with crafts, gifts and culinary treats including festive holiday beverages and cocktails. Learn more about Enchant.

Nov 25-26: 32nd Annual Thanksgiving Art & Craft Festival. The 32nd Annual Thanksgiving Art & Craft Festival is set for November 25 - 26th from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. both days. The outdoor showcase, hosted by the non-profit Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce, has been a holiday favorite for more than three decades, and has always been held during Thanksgiving weekend on Small Business Saturday (and Sunday!). During one of the busiest shopping periods of the year, finding that perfect gift has never been easier with a wide selection of offerings from fine art to crafts and independent business owners with products you can trust. This event encourages holiday shoppers to patronize more than 150 businesses that are small and local. With the holidays right around the corner, the Thanksgiving Art & Craft Festival is the perfect opportunity for locals and visitors alike to shop small for their gift giving needs! The Court Street location is adjacent to the Downtown's Main Street, which features many independently owned shops and restaurants. Admission and parking are both free. 1 N. Nov 25-26: Shopapalooza Festival. Don't miss the biggest Small Business Saturday (and Sunday!) celebration ever! More than 350 small businesses will set up shop at Vinoy Park from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on both days, along with free entertainment, a food hall, activities for all ages and more. Chalk-Lit Fair    **NEW EVENT**

This new fair is a free, family friendly event that celebrates the art community with a twist. Register to participate in the book themed side walk chalk contest and visit local authors, watch live performances, carnival games, food, beer & wine. Winners of each age group will be awarded prizes! Spaces are 5X5 and limited , so register early. Registration begins Feb 20th.

Underwater Egg Hunt  & EGGstravagansa

Dip & Dive for Easter eggs in the pool! The egg hunt begins at 10am, to participate be here no later than 10:30am. Stay and play in the park with Eggcelent activities  like  egg races, egg decorating, egg toss, egg rolling & even meet Peter Rabbit! Date:   Sat: April 20  10-12     Fee:  $5

Community Yard Sale

Excursions

Excursions hosted by the St. Pete Beach Community Center

 

St. Pete Beach, FL; The St. Pete Beach Community Center has new Senior Excursions on the schedule January- March.  The excursions are a great way for local seniors to travel with their friends and make new ones!  All excursions will depart from the St. Pete Beach Community Center, 7701 Boca Ciega Dr.  All trips will leave the Community Center at 9a and return by 4p. Participants must pre-register by the Wednesday prior to the excursion. There are a limited number of seats available. Each trip is $12 for residents of St. Pete Beach and $15 for non residents. Cost covers transportation only.  All admission and/or lunch is an extra cost and the responsibility of the participants.
